It's A Black Thang.com is a Black-owned and operated internet retail site that specializes in African American related products and gifts.
I am the founder of ItsABlackThang.com, a journey that began while I was serving active duty in the Air Force. Initially, I created the website to promote a crossword puzzle and activity book I developed, focusing on African American history and culture. What started as a niche project soon expanded as I added more products from various wholesalers, and the site began to grow exponentially.
As the business thrived, I found myself earning more from my internet business than from my military career, prompting me to transition into working on ItsABlackThang.com full-time. Over the years, the business has experienced its share of ups and downs, adapting to numerous industry changes. However, the advent of the new AI technology has been a game changer.
Immersing ourselves in the AI revolution has opened up incredible opportunities. This new technology allows us to create content, both graphic and written, that was previously almost impossible without expensive software and extensive expertise. Now, anyone can write a book, develop a course, or create a brand and launch their own line of products within 30 days or less.
We've recently launched our new brand called The Kane Collection, featuring a diverse range of home decor items, handbags, accessories, and apparel. Soon, we'll be offering an AI masterclass to empower others to harness these tools and create their own successful ventures.
I'm passionate about leveraging technology to celebrate and promote African American culture, and I'm excited about the future possibilities that AI brings to entrepreneurs and creators everywhere.
